Aims and Scope
Journal of Rescue & Relief is the official publication of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation and Improvement of Iranian Medical Journals (CAIMJ).
The journal accepts research papers in basic, developmental, and applied areas related to rescue and relief, youth, volunteers, humanitarian law, and rehabilitation, in accordance with the goals of the Red Crescent Society.
Since its establishment in 2009, 69 issues of the journal have been published, with a circulation of 1,000 copies.
The journal is sponsored by the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RCSIRI).

All articles published by Journal of Rescue & Relief are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers. Authors retain the copyright of their work, and articles are made freely available to the widest possible audience.

Peer-Review Policy
Journal of Rescue & Relief operates a double-blind peer-review system, in which reviewers are not aware of the names or affiliations of the authors, and the reviewer reports provided to authors are anonymous.
Submitted manuscripts will generally be reviewed by two or more experts who will evaluate whether the manuscript is scientifically sound and coherent, whether it duplicates previously published work, and whether it is sufficiently clear and suitable for publication. The Editors will make a decision based on the reviewers' reports and, where necessary, will consult members of the Editorial Board.

Articles published in Journal of Rescue & Relief should be cited in the following format:
Author(s). Year. "Title." Journal of Rescue & Relief, Vol. [volume], No. [issue], pp. [page range].
Example: Naderi A, Farzadkiya M. [Efficiency of ………….. (Persian)]. Journal of Rescue & Relief. 2016;27(6):78-86.
Vol. 27, No. 6 refers to Issue 6.

Article Processing Charges
Journal of Rescue & Relief is supported by the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran. An article processing charge (APC) of 9,500,000 Rls (Iranian currency) is payable upon editorial acceptance of an article.
