For this reason, hospital is a place which is vulnerable to disaster and should response to it. Therefore, hospital preparedness in disaster can help effectively to reduce the losses. The purpose of this study is to assess the vulnerability of hospital management system in disaster response in Mecca. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the standard checklist of PAHO / WHO was used in order to assess the vulnerability of hospital. This checklist evaluated the vulnerability of disaster management system in hospital in managerial, non-structural and structural dimensions in 2011. Findings: Totally, the hospital conditions were in an average safety level in disaster in the structural dimensions (13), non-structural (86), and managerial aspects (54). Conclusion: The results showed that some measures should be taken in order to reduce the vulnerability regarding the average vulnerability of disaster management system in hospital. However, decision making in this hospital was ba sed on its conditions.
100 حمایت روانی در سوانح Environmental Health in Hotels of Iranian Pilgrims in Najaf in February & January in 2010 Seif Nematolla Nazem Fatemeh Heydari Ali Rezaee Mashallah i Dehdast Sadegh i MD, Health Management Research Center of Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: Health of hotels is important in all over the world; as the health standards is one way of marking hotels out and directly is linked with the guests or passengers’ satisfaction and health. Methods: In this desc riptive analysis study, 117 hotels in Najaf, the accommodation of Iranian pilgrims, were studied in January and February in 2010. A questionnaire was designed with 39 questions in 3 categories ba sed on the national health standards including: 1) individual and personnel hygiene, 2) health of restaurants and food distribution places, and 3) health of toilets, corridors and rooms, kitchen, warehouse and fridge. In this study, the hotels that have achieved above %90 of health score were ranked as the great group and those with below %50 in health score were so weak or bad and the rest of hotels were in a normal level. Findings: According to the results, 13 hotels were at the great group, which among them Zamzam and Qasrodar hotels rated as the top ones, 6 hotels were very weak and the rest were at the normal level. ba sed on the results, about 71/1% of hotels had the lowest indicator and score in the personal hygiene; about 67/9% were rated as the lowest score among questions such as the status of health services and the hose, siphon and pendants; and about 68% were related to the hotels workers condition and work clothing; about 68/8% were related to the hotels’ sanitation conditions, cleaning and storage arrangement; and 69/4% for food storage. Conclusion: It is suggested to consider and pay attention to the health points for selecting hotels. Therefore, the hotels with health and standards should be chosen for staying. 101 حمایت روانی در سوانح Challenges and Health Problems of the Hajj: Dandehbor Valid Charkhsaz Naser l Fazli Hossein Heidari Saeed l MD, Health Management Research Center at the Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: The study of the caravan managers’ viewpoints influence effectively on the health promotion of the pilgrims for better planning in Hajj. So far, few studies are done in order to examine the health issues in Hajj. The purpose of this research is to study the caravan managers’ viewpoints about the major challenges of health in Hajj. Methods: In this integrated study (qualitative & quantitative), 600 managers and 400 clergymen of the Hajj caravans were studied in the Annual Conference during Hajj in Qom in 2011. A researcher-made questionnaire was designed in two quantitative parts including 10 questions in the Likert scale and 5 open questions. Also, the answers were extracted ba sed on the checklist. Findings: The most important health challenges in view of responders were such as communicable diseases, food poisoning, pilgrims’ unfamiliarity with the proper diet plan, disregarding for the doctors and caravan managers advices, improper disposal of waste in the caravan, inappropriate position of toilets and failure in education during the Hajj and pilgrimage. Conclusion: The results have shown that the survey of concerns and viewpoints given by caravan managers can help effectively to the planners of health services system during the Hajj and pilgrimage. 102 حمایت روانی در سوانح Health Problems of Sacrificing People Affected by Riaz Seyed Ali Ghanei Mostafa Dandehbor Valid Matinpour Mozaffar MD, Health Management Research Center at the Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran PhD of Media, School of Art, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: By passing two decades of the imposed war, the side effects of using chemical weapons by Saddam regime against Iran has still remained especially in the lungs, eyes and skin of the survivors who were faced with these weapons. The purpose of this paper is to study the related problems of war disabled people affected by chemical weapons in the Hajj season regarding hot and dry weather and the huge crowd in Saudi Arabia. Methods: This qualitative research with thematic analysis is done as a combination of field observation, depth interviews with officials and physicians of the caravans and ordinary ones. Data was collected and analyzed in regard to the problems of war disabled people affected by chemical weapons. Results: The results have shown that most of chemical survivors because of lung damage suffer from severe respiratory infections and finally pneumonia after cold. Also, the most important health challenges for this group are such as: the exacerbation of skin trauma, immune disorders because of immune system weakness, early fatigue, decrease of blood oxygen in the lungs especially in crowded places and the possibility transmission of respiratory infections in rooms with 4 and 5 persons. Conclusion: Because of sending some of the war disabled people affected by chemical weapons,out of specific caravan, it is necessary for the caravan managers and personnel to pay more attention to the health and examination of this group before trip and to provide the travel requirements for maintaining their health in the hajj season. Also, it is recommended to compile a care and treatment protocol for this group in Hajj season. 103 حمایت روانی در سوانح Medical Errors in Examinations before Sending Pilgrims to the Hajj in 2008 Heidari Ali Memarzadeh Mehrdad Shamspour Navvab Inanlou Mohammad MA in Biochemistry, Health Management Research Center at the Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: Improper screening of pilgrims in examinations before sending by physicians will impose irreversible and serious problems on the pilgrims, the caravan and also the health & care system during the Hajj season. The purpose of this paper is to study medical errors of the caravan physicians in examinations before sending pilgrims to the Hajj in 2008. Methods: In this retrospective cross-sectional study, medical errors in examination were extracted and categorized before sending 100,000 pilgrims to Hajj in 2008. Findings: According to the results, 26 cases with advanced cancer, one of them died during the journey, and the rest of the patients returned to Iran or admitted to the Saudi Arabia hospitals. Meanwhile, 10 cases of chemicals victims and 5 patients with spinal injury were in the ordinary caravans that were not predicted any care arrangement. 4 patients, who had not been diagnosed with mental disorders, were returned to Iran. For 15 cases the physicians had not had any exact medical history of cardiac disease. Also, 3 cases with addiction and a 4-month pregnant woman were other medical errors in Hajj in 2008. Conclusion: Physicians proper diagnosis along with accuracy in patients' desc ription and prediction of necessary care equipment can minimize the individual, social and economic irreversible costs in health and care system during the hajj. 104 حمایت روانی در سوانح Chief Complaints Frequencies in Patients Referred to Physicians in the Hajj Caravan in 2010 Riaz Seyed Ali Torkan Ali Mortazavi Seyed Mostafa Dehghan Hammidreza MA in Educational Management, Management Research Center at the Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: Generally, the first obtained information in patients' history consists of symptoms and problems expressed by him/her. Actually this information helps the physician to diagnose the disease effectively. This study aims to investigate the frequency of the chief complaints of the pilgrims referred to the caravan physicians in order to plan and compile the treatment protocols in the Hajj. Methods: In this retrospective cross-sectional study, all medical records of pilgrims were investigated in Hajj in 2010. The needed information on diagnosis was determined and extracted by caravan physicians. Results: Totally, 133375 cases were investigated. The results showed that the respiratory diseases were the highest frequency (53/02%) and then the muscular and skeletal problems were in next order (6/08%). Muscular and skeletal pain, neurological diseases and also gastrointestinal diseases were in the next orders. Conclusion: The patients referred to the caravan physicians mostly for these main reasons during the Hajj such as: the respiratory diseases, muscle and skeletal pain, headache and gastrointestinal diseases. These kinds of diseases mainly are preventable through proper training and health consideration during the Hajj period. 105 حمایت روانی در سوانح The Pattern and Frequency of Mental Disorders Among Aatients who Returned to Iran from Hajj in 2010 Tabatabaee Amin reza Mobaraki Gholamhossein Fazli Hossein Rostamifar Mehdi MD, Health Management Research Center at the Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: Some of the pilgrims were returned to Iran due to illness, aging, disease exacerbation, and physical or mental disabilities to perform the necessary actions in Hajj. However, this can be imposed the individual, social and economic side effects on the country. The aim of this study was to investigate the causes of Iranian patients’ pilgrims return to the country in Hajj season in 2010. Methods: This cross sectional study was done in psychiatric department of Iranian Red Crescent society Hospital in Mecca and Medina during the Hajj season in Saudi Arabia in 2010. All patients with acute conditions were studied regarding DSMIV-TR criteria and a detailed psychiatric interview. Findings: Totally, 106 patients with different problems were sent to Iran during the Hajj 2010. The mental disorder was the most common cause (%26/4); then, the highest frequency of disorders was related to dementia and acute delirium, %41/2 and %38/4 respectively. Conclusion: Mental illness was the most common reason among pilgrims who were returned to Iran before Hajj season in 2010. Actually, by accurate diagnostic and screening tests during medical examination in the country, and patients care in timely use of medicines during the pilgrimage, most physicians can help the patients and decrease the cost effectively. 106 حمایت روانی در سوانح KAP Study of the Physicians Sending to Umrah in the Field of Common Diseases in 2011 Tabatabaee Amin reza Torkan Ali Shoushtarizadeh Naser Keivan Khesal Majid MD, Health Management Research Center at the Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases, respiratory problems, gastrointestinal diseases, traumas and women's health issues are the most important health and care problems during the Hajj season. In this regard, the early and timely diagnosis and proper treatment of the patients are very important. This study aims to assess the knowledge, attitude, and performance of physicians sending to Umrah in the field of common diseases in pilgrimage. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in Mecca and Medina in 2011. By using questionnaire, the needed demographic information was collected. 40 of physicians were studied in order to measure the knowledge, attitude, and performance of GPs. Findings: The results showed that the knowledge score was in an average level (5/59 ± 0/08), attitude and performance scores were both good (33/81 ± 2/15) and (5/57 ± 0/7) respectively. Cardiovascular diseases were at the lowest level of knowledge and the lowest performance score was related to the use of appropriate drugs in the treatment of respiratory diseases. Conclusion: According to this study, there is a lack of education about common diseases related to heart disease, cardiovascular and respiratory problems which present the need of re-programming for physicians’ training and set up the continuous education programs for general practitioners in the field of mentioned diseases before sending. 107 حمایت روانی در سوانح Publishing in the Field of Health in the Hajj & Pilgrimage Shamspour Navvab Heidarzadeh Abbas Sanjari Mousaee Ahmad Charkhsaz Naser MD, Health Management Research Center at the Hajj & pilgrimage, Tehran, Iran 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017 Introduction: One of the most important scientific products is to publish the articles in scientific research journals that are the result of research works and to judge them before printing. Scientometric indicators publication that describes the research in different scientific communities is a useful element for research management and allocation of funds and facilities in sciences. The purpose of this research is to study the field of health science publishing in Hajj and pilgrimage. Methods: The survey is conducted in the field of scientometric studies. All articles related to the health in Hajj and pilgrimage are studied in the PubMed data base. All articles are extracted based on the number of scientific products, organizations, publications, and also countries contributions in science publishing. Findings:  About 391 papers were published in the health field including 28 review articles, 3 clinical trials, and the rest were as the original research papers; also, Iran had only 8 original articles. Conclusion: According to the results, the local and even foreign researchers had low activity in the field of health in Hajj and pilgrimage. Regarding the health problems and challenges in Hajj which is allocated to the Islam world and the Middle East region, it is an opportunity for Iran to be a pioneer of technology and science production in this field. 108 تروما،تریاژ 1 3 2012 3 3 0 0 19 02 2017 19 02 2017
