	<Abstract>Introduction: Due to constant experience and long presence in tragic scenes, active relief workers of&#160;in the road bases are more exposed to psychological consequences of accidents than inactive ones. A few studies are available on this topic. This study aims to compare the psychological status of both active and inactive relief workers in the road bases of Red Crescent society in Darab Township.
Methods: In this comparative study, 28 of active relief workers were selected in Darab Township road relief bases by using purposeful sampling in 2009. Also about 33 inactive relief workers were selected accidentally and completed the symptom checklist (SCL-90-R). Research data was analyzed by using SPSS (version 16), descriptive statistics indexes, and multivariate analysis of variance test (MANOVA).
Findings: According to the results, active group scores were higher than inactive ones in SCL-90-R and some factors such as aggressive&#160;and mental distress. Although, there was a meaningful difference in Alfa level (0/05 &#38; 0/001), in some cases as interpersonal sensitivity, depression and additional questions were not meaningful.
Conclusion: Regarding the mental vulnerability of relief workers in road accidents, a careful planning about individual and organizational protections for active group is required.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>Introduction:&#160;Today, trauma has considered as an important cause of mortality and disability in various countries and detection of spreading of this problem in each specific region is vital for scheduling preventive plans for decreasing trauma. So the aim of this study was epidemiological assessment of Trauma Patients Referring to Arak Vali-Asr Hospital in 2006.

Methods:&#160;In this descriptive study, the data of 813 traumatic patients who admitted to the Arak Vali-Asr hospital in 2006 were recorded from hospital trauma database. The variables were as follow: demographic variables, location of trauma and its type, type of trauma (blunt, penetrating), using cigar or narcotics during car accidents, using safety belt during car accident, transferring to the hospital and the major agent which cause car accident.

Findings:&#160;The most common cause of trauma was car accident (351, 43%) followed by working trauma (171, 21%). 74% of patients were male, 53% were in 20-44 age-group and 64% had lower diploma education. Most of traumas have occurred outside of city (704, 87%) and 609 patients (69%) had transferred to the hospital by people. 693 (85%) of traumas were penetrating type. During car accident, 16 patients (5%) had used cigar and 6 patients (2%) narcotics. Only 64 patients (18%) had used safety belt. The agents of accidents were as follow: Car vehicle, 200, 57%; Human, 65, 18% and objects and obstacles, 86, 25%.

Conclusion:&#160;The present findings showed that similar to other studies, the most common cause of trauma in our center was car accidents and young males are at higher risk. The second cause was working traumas, too. Since injuries due to traumas and accidents are one of the great challenges of general health, education about increasing use of safety belt and helmet and also safety procedures during work could be important preventive factors.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>Introduction: Educational managers have to evaluate the effectiveness of crisis management trainings to recognize the weakness and strength points of the plans. According to Kirkpatrick pattern, this paper aims to study the effectiveness of crisis management workshop training regarding the educational goals achievement based on awareness, knowledge, and managers&#39; satisfaction in unexpected disasters center in Kerman province.
Methods: In this applied and evaluation research, about 134 of managers in unexpected disasters center were selected in 7 townships of Kerman by using simple sampling randomly, questionnaire, frequency, percent, mean, T test statistics in 2009.
Findings: About 58.8 percent of managers were satisfied with awareness of the available&#160;
Conclusion: The result shows that the course was effective and useful regarding the knowledge and awareness increasing of crisis management. There was a meaningful difference in posttest and pretest mean (P&#60;0.05). In participants&#39; view, the course and the quality of training workshop were highly desirable.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>Inroducion: Using an effective management system can minimize negative effects of emergency incidents in hospitals and achieve maximum&#160;&#160;with using&#160; of facilities and human resources. Hospital Emergency Incident Command System (HEICS) is one of the most reliable emergency incident command system for preparing and increasing the hospitals efficiency. The aim of this study is to identify&#160;Isfahan University of medical sciences.

Method: In this qualitative research, some senior mangers of Isfahan University of medical sciences and key informants in emergency incidents management were selected and surveyed by in-depth interview in 2008. The data was collected by using nonrandom purposeful sampling, semi-structured interview and also snowball method, and then it was analyzed by&#160;Klizy method.

Findings:The findings were classified into two general categories including&#160;s (internal and external) of HEICS establishment and also adopting short, mid and long terms.

Conclusion:Regarding barriers in establishment of HEICS, it is recommended that the authorities take measures in different levels of health &#38; care system to implement as soon as possible by encouraging and supporting systems.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>INTRODUCTION: Providing medical services to injured passengers and personnel in a short time is the major goal of Tehran metro superior services regarding the progressive increase in population in metropolises; the importance of public transportation network development and also the role of metro in transporting a large number of passengers. This research aims to study the effect of medical emergency bases on the quality of the passenger services in Tehran metro station.

METHODS:In this cross-sectional research which is case study, about 402 persons including emergency personnel (37); customers of main stations (185) and customers of secondary&#160; (180) were surveyed by using three separate kinds of questionnaires, which their validity was confirmed by Cronbach&#8217;s Alfa test (0.82 for emergency personnel and 0.90 for customers of the main and secondary stations). The scoring system was determined based on Likert and the related experts&#39; viewpoints.

FINDINGS :The findings show the major factors of satisfaction are as follows: the quality indicator of &#34;providing services&#34; in viewpoint of personnel (pvalue=0.004); the indicator of &#34;transportation&#34; in the viewpoint of the main stations customers (pvalue=0.027); and the quality of &#34;reception&#34; in view of secondary stations customers. More satisfaction was gained from the main stations in comparison to secondary ones (pvalue=0.000) and also passengers were more satisfied with medical emergency bases than the referred personnel (pvalue=0.096).

CONCLUSION: According to the results, establishment of medical emergency base is the major factor of customers&#39; satisfaction from main stations and it has a great effect on the quality of passenger services despite less satisfaction of personnel.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>Introduction: Staff training of is one of the most important ways of&#160; and development for both staff and ultimately organization. This paper aims to present a comprehensive system pattern of training for the staff of Red Crescent Society.
Methods: In this research using mixed methods, some measures were taken carefully. First, the available status of Red Crescent society was surveyed by analyzing documents and interviewing training experts and managers; then, the existing&#160;were identified; and finally the suitable pattern was designed by analyzing the current situation and vulnerabilities. The validity of the mentioned pattern was assessed by using questionnaire of relative key informants in Red Crescent Society.
Findings: This research submits the available vulnerabilities to the staff training of Red Crescent society such as organizational structure, rules &#38; regulations, educational system structure and education process. A systematic pattern was designed for the staff of Red Crescent society.
Conclusion: According to the result, a comprehensive, systematic pattern was designed and provided for the staff training including need assessment, design, implementation, evaluation, and motivational mechanisms. The designed pattern for training is valid for&#160;based on the results.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>Inroduction: Human resources management is one of the bases of crisis management in earthquake especially in hospitals and also it is the most important part of health system in response step. The aim of this research is to identify the effective factors in human resources management in Imam Sajad hospital of NAJA.


Method:In this research which is applicable, case study and descriptive, about 100 personnel of Imam Sajad hospital in different levels were participated. The questionnaire was confirmed by the key informants. The questionnaire was included demographic and structural data and also 80 questions were about the ideal and available situation. With regard to questions, the factors&#160;&#160;to each other was analyzed by using&#160;Friedman Test.

Findings:According to the findings, most respondents were satisfied with the mentioned factors in all aspects and also all factors were effective in responding and preventing earthquake (about 95%).


Conclusion:Some factors have greater influence on human resources management to response earthquake as follows: management factors (specialized, public and operational); motivational, environmental &#38; organizational, maintenance (health, safety, financial, facilitate and welfare), research and educational, structural and spiritual.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>Introduction: Public education and preparedness are among the factors which can be effective in disaster risk reduction. The importance of this issue is such that these days the planners and experts identify education as one of the main indicators for confronting the disasters and reducing its impact. Therefore, achieving awareness and considering the safety measures are resulted from fundamental and continuous teaching which starts from the first stages of child learning and grows gradually. In this regard, education especially for preschool children and elementary level is of great importance and has been emphasized in the national education and training policies. With regard to the seismicity of the country and the importance of children as the future of any country and the messengers of safety, &#8220;Earthquake and safety&#8221; is among the issues that have been taken into consideration in formal and informal education in Iran and children get familiar with this subject in various stages from preschool to university level. This paper presents few samples of appropriate methods for teaching &#8220;Earthquake and safety&#8221; to teachers and instructors in preschool and school level in order to enhance and improve education.</Abstract>

	<Abstract>INTRODUCTION: In the previous article, we referred to the initial rapid assessment, the collection of data and information, and the preparation of the status report and stated that in the rapid initial assessment, our goal is to use little information to provide an overview of the accident scene and started the operation faster. Therefore, we use the same people, who are more at the scene of the accident and can provide a general estimate of the event more quickly; however, they may not have high expertise and general knowledge and ability.
The effects that disaster has on society have many broad, complex, and ambiguous aspects that require more time, more knowledge, and more valuable experience. For this reason, detailed evaluation is called technical and specialized evaluation. In this article, we will try to address this important and especially the issues in the field of rescue operations.</Abstract>
